Dr Astin listened to my concerns and medical worries and we have a plan to move forward. Thank you.

Dismissive, condescending. Doesn’t listen to serious concerns. Poor communication skills, borderline rude.

This was the first time I had talked to her. She was helpful and friendly. I liked that she had new ideas and also explained clearly the next steps she would take to get the medicine to me. Thank you.

Dr Astin & her team are extremely responsive & prompt when raising an enquiry with thrm. I've always found Dr Astin to be knowledgeable, compassionate & clear with her diagnosis. I can contact her directly via the brilliant online system which is convenient, swift & confidential. I wouldn't want to be registered anywhere else! The Surgery's recent Saturday Covid booster clinic was extremely well organised & available at a time that suited my husband & I. We are extremely grateful to be part of this practice & commend everyone including the supreme volunteers for their help & support! Well done!

I was refused a pregnancy test although I had told you I had positives and was bleeding. Because my period was due around the time you didn't give me a test because it's too early and you didn't have a test apparently. You're a GP. Why don't you have any tests?! I was told to wait a week. Although I had my 3 children and crying my eyes out worried, you wouldn't do anything. 2 days have passed and I phoned 111 due to shoulder pain. They emailed the GP surgery and I was seen the next day. Turns out, I got a test and I had an EARLY MISCARRIAGE. Something YOU could have told me if you'd have done one a few days earlier! You see, I already knew it was happening, it's called a chemical pregnancy! Usually when a patient says there's something wrong, THERE IS! You really need to listen to your patients and go that little bit above. Because we always know something is wrong, that's why we call..
